1. PLANNING LED BY THE COMMUNITY: In short, we listen to residents, other organizations, and our volunteers when shaping our events. We actively seek out and use community input to shape every event to ensure that our programming reflects the desires of the real people who live in Sheridan.
2. VOLUNTEER-DRIVEN WORK: We are powered by a small but mighty group of volunteers. From the planning stages to day-of execution, our events are not possible without the time and dedication of these individuals.
3. ACCESSIBLE, FAMILY FRIENDLY EVENTS: Our events strive to be welcoming to people of all ages and backgrounds. Accessibility, affordability and family-centered design are our chief considerations while planning each event.
4. TRANSPARENCY IN HOW FUNDS ARE USED: As a nonprofit organization, we take our responsibility seriously. Funds raised are used thoughtfully to support programming, event safety, and long term sustainability. We believe in transparency and accountability.

SHERIDAN EVENTS IS COMMITTED TO RESPONSIBLE STEWARDSHIP OF EVERY DOLLAR ENTRUSTED TO US. ALL FUNDS RAISED ARE USED TO SUPPORT COMMUNITY EVENTS, PUBLIC PROGRAMMING, AND INITIATIVES THAT BRING PEOPLE TOGETHER IN SHERIDAN.
WE STRIVE TO CLEARLY COMMUNICATE HOW DONATIONS AND SPONSORSHIPS ARE USED, SHARE EVENT OUTCOMES WITH THE PUBLIC, AND OPERATE WITH ACCOUNTABILITY TO OUR COMMUNITY.
OUR ORGANIZATION IS A VOLUNTEER-LED ONE AND ADMINISTRATIVE COSTS ARE KEPT MINIMAL SO THAT THE MAJORITY OF FUNDS RAISED DIRECTLY SUPPORT EVENTS AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT.
