We reviewed financials and sponsorship progress, reaching over $37,000 in pledged or donated funds. Final preparations for Rev’d Up Rides were completed, including registration processes, merchandise setup, logistics, and volunteer coordination. Planning for the 4th of July advanced with band booking approval, vendor coordination, and initial event layout and requirements.

This special meeting at Sheridan High School focused on coordinating with school staff for Rev'd Up Rides and 4th of July event, including site layout, facility use, and contingency planning, with adjustments made to parking, event spaces, and potential indoor accommodations for severe weather.

This meeting focused on funding decisions, including reallocating donations to prioritize the 2026 4th of July celebration, as well as continued planning for Rev’d Up Rides and event logistics for the 4th of July at the new high school location

The Sheridan Events Committee met on March 10, 2026, to discuss upcoming events, financial updates, and key planning decisions.

Sheridan Events members met with Sheridan Community Schools staff to coordinate logisitics for hosting the 2026 Town of Sheridan 4th of July fireworks and festival at the high school due to construction near Biddle Park. Discussion included fireworks location, parking, seating, security, potential festival activities, and coordination with school facilities.

We discussed Rev'd Up Rides planning, alternate locations for the 4th of July due to 47 construction, funding challenges for 4th festival and fireworks, Scarecrows on Main, and more!

We hosted a 4th of July steering committee meeting at Gosia's Rustic Kitchen to welcome the community to the drawing board. We are still all ears for any ideas, feedback, or information you might have that will help us plan America's 250th birthday! ​

We reviewed the success of Rev’d Up Rides, including attendance, financial outcomes, and participant feedback, identifying key improvements for future events. Leadership updates included the appointment of a new Vice President. The group continued detailed planning for the 4th of July event, focusing on budget gaps, event layout, entertainment logistics, vendor coordination, and upcoming deadlines.

The committee finalized logistics for the Rev’d Up Rides car show, including event schedule, supply assignments, volunteer roles, and safety planning. Key updates included progress on vendor coordination, signage, parade planning with local officials, and contingency planning for food vendors. Initial discussion also began for 4th of July planning, including donation strategies and sponsorship outreach.

We covered financial updates, including fully funding the fireworks, along with continued planning and logistics for Rev’d Up Rides and early coordination for the 4th of July event, including vendors and entertainment.

Fundraising efforts continue, with outreach to local businesses & donation initiatives around town. Final preparations for Rev’d Up Rides are underway, including marketing, logistics, and task assignments as the event approaches.

Sheridan Events gained two new members this meeting! We discussed our submissions for the Hamilton County Tourism grant, Rev'd Up Rides logistics, and plans for 2026 4th of July celebration. ​

We continued with Rev'd Up Rides planning, Greek's joined the meeting to discuss a beer garden for RUR and more, changes to traditional 4th of July scheduling/programming, group has meeting planned with SCS for Friday the 13th.
