FIREWORKS FUND
Sheridan's 4th of July fireworks display is funded entirely by community donations. Each year, the Fireworks Fund helps cover the cost of a safe, professional fireworks show at Biddle Memorial Park.

In 2025, the fireworks package we selected cost $13,500. For 2026, due to the special anniversary and higher demand, that same package has increased to $19,000, which does reflect rising costs across the industry for materials, labor, and safety requirements.
​
Every contribution to the Fireworks Fund goes directly toward covering these costs and ensuring the continuation of the long-standing community tradition. Donations of all sizes play an important role in keeping the Fourth of July celebration possible.

Q: HOW DO I KNOW THAT MY DONATION IS GOING TO THE 4TH OF JULY FIREWORKS SHOW?
A: When you make a donation through the fireworks fund link, your donation is earmarked for exactly that. You may also notate "Fireworks Fund" on our general donation fund form.

Q: WHO IS IN CHARGE OF SETTING OFF FIREWORKS?
A: Historically, the Sheridan Fire Department was tasked with the fireworks show. Now, Sheridan Events has taken on the responsibility of fundraising for and hosting the fireworks show.
We will update this section when we have signed the contract for the 2026 fireworks show.

Q: HOW LONG IS THE FIREWORKS SHOW?
A: The goal is a 20 minute show.

Q: WHY IS THE COST SO MUCH HIGHER THIS YEAR?
A: The cost of fireworks has increased for 2026 due to the anniversary of America's Independence. Demand is way up, per our contact at the fireworks company.
